1. Center Circle – Located at the center of the field. This is where the game begins with a kickoff.
2. Goal Area (Goal Box) – Rectangular area in front of each goal. Extends 6 yards (18 feet) from each goalpost and 6 yards into the field.
3. Penalty Area (Penalty Box) – Larger rectangular area in front of each goal. Extends 18 yards (54 feet) from each goalpost and 18 yards into the field. Goalkeepers are allowed to use their hands within this area.
4. Corner Arc – Quarter circles drawn at each corner of the field. Radius of 1 yard (1 meter). Corner kicks are taken from here.
5. Touchlines (Sidelines) – The longer boundaries of the field.
6. Goal Lines – The shorter boundaries of the field, between the goalposts.
